This was a perfect day for a race. Temperatures were in the 50's and I was able to sleep the night before. My body did what it was suppose to do prior to the race, which allowed me to feel good throughout. I was able to maintain a decent pace , although my legs were tiring the last couple of miles. I definitely had to push myself up the hills, as there are many the second half, and remind myself just to run with "No Regrets," (my motto). I was able to finish strong and loved seeing my husband at the finish line. It was a really good day. It wasn't a personal best, but I did improve from last year.
