| Location: Athens,GA,USA Member Since: Apr 26, 2009 Gender: Female Goal Type: Boston Qualifier Running Accomplishments: I have completed 13 marathons, 13 half marathons and a variety of shorter distances. My PR in the marathon is now 4:11:44, December 2009. I finished my last half on October 30, 2010 and set a new PR by 48 seconds with a time of 1:53:48. Next race: Athens Half Marathon- Sunday, October 21st. Short-Term Running Goals: I would love to improve my times without stressing too much on race day. I would like to become a fitter and stronger runner.
Next Half Marathon: Silver Comet Half Marathon on Saturday, October 30th. Completed: Time of 1:53:48 PR!
Next Marathon: Soldier Marathon in Columbus, GA on Saturday, November 12th. Completed: Time of 4:16:58 (better than last year) Long-Term Running Goals: It would be pretty awesome to qualify for Boston, and I am now closer than I was before, but I still have to knock just over 25 minutes off my time. Personal: I am married, no kids, two dogs. I am a schoolteacher who moved in June 2009 from Florida to Georgia.

| I had a nice run near the house this morning. It was cold, but not bad. After a slow start, I was able to pick up the pace and finish strong.

| Due to pouring rain here, I ran at the gym this morning. The satellite was out due to the weather, therefore I had to run using my iPod and the courses provided. I ran through Germany and New Zealand this morning.

| I was back at the gym this morning, but unfortunately the satellite was only partialy working. I watched the news as I ran, but it was painful to watch. Just depressing information and breaks wery 5 minutes.

| I met some friends this morning to run downtown under the Christmas lights. I ran with them for the first 5 miles before heading out on my own for the final 5 miles.

| I got up and ran early this morning as I needed to get my dad to the airport this morning. It felt good to get the mileage in before heading to breakfast and the long drive to the airport.

| I was able to get my 8 miles in this morning as I was making up for not running on Christmas Day. It was very mild out, although I was concerned about rain. I did get up early, although it turned out to be unnecessary.

| I went for a nice run this morning as the temperature was in the low 30's. I averaged about 10:30 per mile as I ran to my music and enjoyed the time.
