| Location: Athens,GA,USA Member Since: Apr 26, 2009 Gender: Female Goal Type: Boston Qualifier Running Accomplishments: I have completed 13 marathons, 13 half marathons and a variety of shorter distances. My PR in the marathon is now 4:11:44, December 2009. I finished my last half on October 30, 2010 and set a new PR by 48 seconds with a time of 1:53:48. Next race: Athens Half Marathon- Sunday, October 21st. Short-Term Running Goals: I would love to improve my times without stressing too much on race day. I would like to become a fitter and stronger runner.
Next Half Marathon: Silver Comet Half Marathon on Saturday, October 30th. Completed: Time of 1:53:48 PR!
Next Marathon: Soldier Marathon in Columbus, GA on Saturday, November 12th. Completed: Time of 4:16:58 (better than last year) Long-Term Running Goals: It would be pretty awesome to qualify for Boston, and I am now closer than I was before, but I still have to knock just over 25 minutes off my time. Personal: I am married, no kids, two dogs. I am a schoolteacher who moved in June 2009 from Florida to Georgia.

| My goal this morning was to get my run in before the day of rain was going to begin. Fortunately, I was able to do just that. My legs did feel tired for that first mile or two and it was unseasonably warm for the second day of winter. The rain began about 30 minutes after I got home and didn't let up until the next morning.

| After a somewhat decent nights sleep, I hit the road for my morning run, My timing was perfect as the rain pretty much ended as I started. I felt decent for the most part, my legs feeling lighter than they did yesterday.

| I got up early this morning to join my friends for our annual Christmas Eve morning run. We meet downtown and check out the holiday lights before the sun comes up. It was cold, but nice to see friends. I ran just over four miles with my running buddy and then finished the final 1.9 on my own.

| I ran this morning from my parents house in NY. I made the mistake of not plugging in my watch the night before, therefore, I was not sure how long it would last. It was cold, with temps around 30. I chose to bring my music and see where the roads would take me. I was able to get approximately 8 miles in, which I was good with. I seemed to be maintaining an under 10 minute mile pace, although I can't be sure as my watch died on me at mile 7.4.
